ERIE – The Manufacturer & Business Association’s (The MBA) next Executive Speaker Series will feature Erie Insurance President and Chief Executive Officer Tim NeCastro — along with special guests Kim Thomas, executive director of Infinite Erie, and Jennie Hagerty, executive director of the Mercy Center for Women — for “Stronger Together: Addressing Housing and Food Insecurity in Erie” at 8 a.m. Thursday, March 19, at the Association’s Conference Center, 2171 West 38th Street. Registration begins at 7:45 a.m. All media are invited to attend.
“Housing and food insecurity impact our entire community including our workplaces,” said MBA President and CEO Lori Joint. “We hope this discussion will shed light on these topics and ways to address them.”
The one-hour program will not only focus on cross-sector collaboration addressing housing access and food insecurity, but also aligning business, economic development and nonprofit efforts for community impact. Speakers will discuss strengthening neighborhoods through partnership and shared leadership, as well as trends shaping the future and workplace culture. Additionally, they will share what they see as challenges and opportunities facing the business community, and leadership strategies for navigating change and driving success.
