It was a full week at The MBA, with three events bringing business leaders, community partners and local professionals together for meaningful conversations, connections and reflection.
Honoring 9/11 and Our Local First Responders
Our week began with the 9/11 Memorial Car Show, an opportunity to come together in remembrance of the lives lost on September 11 and to recognize the courage and sacrifice of our local first responders.
The event gave our community a chance to pause, remember and reflect while celebrating the resilience that continues to define our region.
Preparing the Next Generation
At our September 16 Executive Speaker Series, Riley Warren of The Warren Company, Patrick Goodrich of Seaway
Manufacturing Corp., Mike Jaruszewicz of United Way of Erie County and Jason Burgert of Erie’s Public Schools discussed how education, industry and the community are working together to create meaningful career pathways for the next generation.
The conversation highlighted the partnerships helping connect students with real-world opportunities while building a stronger workforce for Erie County.
Connecting Business and Government
We wrapped up the week in Pittsburgh at the Western Pennsylvania Legislative Reception, bringing business leaders and legislators together for networking and conversations about the issues shaping businesses and communities across the region.
