ERIE – Joe Schember, the 48th mayor of the City of Erie, will be the guest speaker at the Manufacturer & Business Association’s (MBA) upcoming Eggs ‘n’ Issues briefing, starting at 8 a.m. Wednesday, April 25, at the MBA Conference Center, 2171 West 38th Street. Registration begins at 7:45 a.m. All media are invited to attend.
During his presentation, Schember will discuss his administration’s first 100 days in office, the progress they’ve made, and the next steps they plan to take to implement their vision to transform Pennsylvania’s Flagship City.
Schember was sworn in as mayor on January 2, 2018. He is a lifelong Erie resident and spent 40 years working at PNC Bank, including the last 13 years in the bank’s Wealth Management Group. He also served five and a half years on Erie City Council, during which time he chaired the finance committee.
