ERIE – Tim NeCastro, president and chief executive officer of Erie Insurance, Erie County’s largest employer, will be the keynote speaker at The MBA’s (Manufacturer & Business Association) Executive Speaker Series at 8 a.m. Thursday, April 17, at the Association’s Conference Center, 2171 West 38th Street. Registration begins at 7:45 a.m. All media are invited to attend.
During the one-hour program, NeCastro will discuss the significance of ERIE’s 100th anniversary; trends and challenges impacting the insurance industry; opportunities and challenges in the community; and, provide his insights on leadership, including strategies for navigating change and driving success.
NeCastro has served as president and CEO of Erie Insurance since 2016. He joined ERIE in 1996, starting a career that has spanned finance, services and sales. He managed ERIE’s Internal Auditing Department and was then promoted to senior vice president of the Controller Division in 1997. In 2008, he moved into operations as senior vice president of the Product and Policy Services Division. He then expanded his experience to field sales operations in 2010, when he was promoted to senior vice president and regional officer.
Over the course of the year, the MBA’s Executive Speaker Series will feature presidents and CEOs from regional companies in a variety of industries. Upcoming programs include: an Industry Panel of Manufacturers on May 8.
