Monday, January 27, 2025 ERIE — Why is Erie Water Works Chief Executive Officer Craig Palmer so pumped about the future of water in our region? Learn the answer to that question and more at the Manufacturer & Business Association’s (MBA) Eggs ‘n’ Issues briefing at 8 a.m. Thursday, January 30, at the MBA Conference Center, 2171 West 38th Street. “Water is vital to our region, especially in the areas of health, safety, business and economic development,” said MBA President Lori Joint. “We are looking forward to hearing an update from the Erie Water Works on this most important resource.”
During his presentation, Palmer will address how Erie Water Works is leading the charge when it comes to the future of water in the area and “get the lead out” initiatives within its footprint. He also will share the Water Works’ innovative plans for sustainability and infrastructure improvements.
Before taking over as CEO of Erie Water Works in 2024, Palmer served as the Water Works’ senior manager of engineering services. He has more than 20 years of experience in public water utility management.
